Unless otherwise noted invoices are payable upon receipt. twelve percent interest will be added to any outstanding balance older than 60 days.
We are happy to accept Interac® email payments to [email protected] We can also make arrangements for payment via PayPal or credit card. Payment by cheque might delay work until the cheque is accepted by our bank.
Service details
WordPress Mechanic
Fees for WordPress Mechanic are recurring and processed through your credit card. In case your credit card payment fails we reserve the right to stop service immediately.
Warranty Limitations: While we are committed to the highest quality standards we can not assume responsibility for programming mistakes by others. Any problems caused by other website or plugin developers are the responsibility of these.
30 Day Guarantee: If you tell us within the first 30 days that you are not 100% satisfied with our service we will gladly reimburse your fee.
Theme Updates: We can only process theme updates if a child theme exists or all customizations have been done outside of the theme. We can set up a child theme via our BlueBird WP Garage program.
Premium Themes and Plugins: We can only update themes that have a valid license. Please make sure your licensing information is entered correctly.
Support: The WordPress Mechanic program includes support by email and help or repairs of 30 minutes per month. This does not include style or content changes and is designed for problems caused by software updates. Technical support beyond this will be charged at the prefered rate of $60/hr. For bigger repairs and style changes we offer our WordPress Garage services.
BlueBird WordPress Garage
Fees for WordPress Garage are due before work begins.
Before we begin work on your website we will provide a detailed work plan and fixed price. By paying our fee you agree to the proposed changes. If you would like to make changes to your project after it has started we need to charge additional fees.

Search engine rankings depend on a lot of different factors. We often suggest improving the SEO settings of your site. We will not guarantee particular performance improvements in search engine ratings. Meaning: We do NOT guarantee you’ll be on the first page of Google.
Theme Updates: We can only process theme updates if a child theme exists or all customizations have been done outside of the theme. We can set up a child theme if you wish.
Premium Themes and Plugins: We can only update themes that have a valid license. Please make sure your licensing information is entered correctly. We can purchase licenses for you and will forward the charges to you.
BlueBird Websites
For every new website we will provide an outline including a breakdown of the cost and a timeline. These timelines assume timely delivery of content and other contributions by the client or the client’s contractors.
The payment of the fees is split into 2 or 3 installments:
- Down payment due before work begins
- For larger projects a payment is due upon presentation of the design to the client
- The final payment is due before the website is launched
In the event that you abandon the project before completion, the last payment is due within 10 days.
We reserve the right to keep websites offline until the final payment is processed by our bank.
Hourly Fees
For consulting, training services or smaller projects we might agree to charge by the hour.
Our current hourly rate is $97 (+tax) and is due in advance of the service.
